After Your Session
How long should I wait before swimming or going to the beach after a tattoo?
Avoid swimming in the sea or pools, and avoid direct sun exposure, for at least 7–10 days after getting a tattoo. Saltwater, chlorine, and UV rays can irritate a fresh tattoo and slow down healing.
If you are on vacation in Crete, try to schedule your tattoo toward the end of your trip so you can enjoy the beach worry-free beforehand.

Can I fly home after getting a tattoo?
Yes, flying after a tattoo is generally safe. Many of our clients get tattooed in Chania before flying home from Crete. Your artist will give you aftercare instructions tailored to the size and placement of your tattoo to ensure safe healing during travel.
How do I take care of my tattoo in the hot Greek climate?
